Мюнхенская речь президента России Владимира Путина актуальна и сейчас, некоторым ее стоит пересмотреть, сказала в интервью РИА Новости бывшая глава МИД Австрии Карин Кнайсль.
Десятого февраля исполняется 15 лет с тех пор, как Путин произнес свою знаменитую речь на Мюнхенской конференции по безопасности. Он подверг жесткой критике внешнюю политику США и идеи однополярного мироустройства, выступил резко против планов расширения НАТО и размещения в Восточной Европе объектов американской противоракетной обороны.
“Эта речь очень актуальна и сейчас. Было бы хорошо, если бы некоторые государственные чиновники нашли 30 минут, чтобы пересмотреть выступление. Потому что оно показывает, как долго ждала, в том числе и российская сторона, как долго на самом деле “проглатывались” определенные вещи. Все это было, например, до провозглашения независимости Косово со всеми сомнительными аспектами международного права, до так называемых гуманитарных интервенций Европы в Северной Африке, на Ближнем Востоке. С тех пор многое развилось в той мере, как снежный ком превращается в лавину”, – сказала Кнайсль.
Мюнхенская конференция была основана в 1963 году как “заседание представителей оборонных ведомств” стран-членов НАТО. Сейчас это международный дискуссионный форум для политиков, дипломатов, военных, бизнесменов, научных и общественных деятелей из десятков стран. Конференция проходит традиционно в гостинице Bayerischer Hof в историческом центре баварской столицы. В Мюнхене не подписывают итоговых коммюнике и соглашений, при этом конференция является важным и относительно нейтральным местом встреч и обсуждений для политиков и дипломатов мирового уровня.
