В Оренбурге на суд общественности представят модель будущего памятника солисту группы «Ласковый май» Юрию Шатунову и её создателю и композитору Сергею Кузнецову.
28 марта в Оренбурге благотворительный фонд «Евразия» продемонстрирует макет скульптурной композиции «Юра Шатунов и Сергей Кузнецов в Оренбурге», сообщает на своей странице в соцсети председатель благотворительного фонда «Евразия» Игорь Храмов. Автор скульптуры Александр Сукманов покажет детали памятника до отливки в бронзе.
По словам руководителя фонда «Евразия», сперва задумывался памятник воспитаннику оренбургского детского дома Юрию Шатунову. Было выбрано место для монумента — участок на углу улиц Химической и Регенераторной. Локацию одобрил бывший учитель музыки и воспитатель детского дома Сергей Кузнецов, открывший талант в мальчишке, которого потом полюбил весь Советский Союз. Но и он вскоре ушёл из жизни. Администрация Оренбурга уже одобрила и установку памятника, и создание вокруг него сквера. Осталось, по словам Игоря Храмова, утвердить памятник общественности Оренбурга, а также родным и близким создателей «Ласкового мая».
Оренбург по праву считается колыбелью группы «Ласковый май», которая является символом «лихих 90-х» и смутного времени в России. Ключевые участники группы, её создатель Сергей Кузнецов и исполнитель его песен Юрий Шатунов, скоропостижно скончались в 2022 году.
